Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in blockchain research, crypto forensics, or financial risk analysis.
- In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, including wallets, transactions, and smart contracts.
- Strong experience with blockchain data analysis tools (e.g., Chainalysis, Arkham, Nansen, Dune Analytics, Etherscan).
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages used for data analysis.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, and financial patterns in crypto trading.
- Proven ability to design and implement frameworks for assessing risk in blockchain environments.
- Strong analytical mindset, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and frameworks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Academic background in research, mathematics, economics, or related fields.
- Passion for advancing trust and safety in web3 ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate Webacy’s risk analysis technology by conducting manual assessments of blockchain addresses and transactions.
- Identify patterns of fraudulent or high-risk behavior on-chain and develop algorithms to detect them.
- Design and implement new frameworks for risk assessment based on deep blockchain knowledge and emerging trends.
- Conduct technical analysis of financial patterns in crypto trading to improve risk algorithms.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to refine and scale risk assessment models.
